Day 32 - Forever Friends

Hello friends,

It's a wonderful day, isn't it? Lovely Wednesday. After being absent for two weeks teaching handicraft, today, I was back to the class. Wow! The first session was with 24 students! Something should be talked about, then. Hope I can get the right appreciation for teaching this so-many students. LOL..

Yesterday, I had a chance to open Paper Crafts magazine. The newest edition. Ohlala... I was so amazed by all creations in it. What can I say; gorgeous? Fabulous? One theme inspired me to make a card for today.. Yes, that rainbow theme is really good.

This is my card. First, I stamped the sentiment 'friends'. Then, I made four panels of different colors. I stamped the clear stamp with Distress Ink. Adhered them with the foam tape. Then I cut the 'forever'. Voila!

Supplies: PTI stamp and dies, Hero Arts sentiment stamp

This is the detail:

Hope your Wednesday is fabulous as you are.. Enjoy each moment you have today. Surely, when you enjoy it, happiness will always be with you. Because, I believe, happiness is what we make it.

Day 31 - Have a Blooming Good Day

Hi friends,

How's your day? Is it a beautiful Tuesday? I hope so.. I didn't do much today. I just packed all the things the customers ordered. Here and there, in the craft room and in the display room. I really enjoy being in this building.. LOL.. Nothing compares..

This is the card I made today. I love this technique, ever since I learnt it from Freddy rom JDA, S'pore. Spraying the colored stamp on white card stock is the quickest way and the result is almost never ugly. Haha.. At least on my eyes...

Supplies: Hero Arts Flower stamp, Zig markers, MFT sentiment stamp.

This is the detail:

Thanks for viewing my work, friends. I must go home earlier, to join the fellowship in the housing complex. Enjoy your day and see you tomorrow...

Day 30 - Live In The Moment

Hi friends,

I'm back. Oh, what a day! Well, it should be the nice day for me. But I ended my afternoon in not a good way. I joined a meeting with the ladies in the housing complex. It took us three hours to discuss everything concerning the event that will take place next week. The head of the ladies will be replaced with the new lady. And since this event concerns all the "high" rank "wives", we had to care for this carefully. Actually it can be done within one hour, if the committee prepared themselves before us.

Well, anyway, I went quickly to my craft room to release my bad mood. I made this card. i want to tell others that we live in the moment. Not in the just-good-surface moment. if we really care about the moment we live in, I'm sure we will appreciate every moment and will do more fruitful things. (Hellooooooo, ladies...) Hehehe...

This is my card for today.

Supplies: Hero Arts stamps, MFT sentiment stamp.

And these are the details:

Hope you all also understand how precious the moments God has given us freely.. In return, please, use your moments fruitfully...

Happy Monday, everyone..

Day 29 - Just A Note

Hello friends,

I made this card the other day, and to be supposedly posted yesterday on Sunday. But the wifi connection in the housing complex didn't permit to even open my blog.. *sigh...

Supplies: PTI Tag die & leave clear stamp, Carla punch, Twinery Cantaloupe

I'll be back soon for today's card.

Day 28 - Just A Note

Hi friends,

Happy weekend to you all! What are you doing this weekend? Hope you all have wonderful weekend with your loved ones. Me? Saturday is a music day. Yeah, I join the electone class, where I learn to play gospels. Today i learned more than 10 gospels in C. All in C and I got the experience to learn the chord for each song. I felt so glad to be able to refresh my mind about this musical chord. You know, I ever learned piano for 11 years, 25 years ago. And I need much time to recognize again all the chord in the songs.. After one hour practice with 4 friends and a teacher, I usually take violin class for half an hour. But today, I took one hour practice due to my absence last week and the last two week.. :( Ohlala... my left finger tips were in pain.. Hehehe...

Today, I managed to make some cards to promote the new twines from The Twinery. Fabulous colors. But, I will only show you one card, which has hydrangea on it. I think I am very late to possess this fabulous hydrangea stamp.. Well, always out of stock. First, I stamped the hydrangea with Versamark on the base card. Then, I colored the stamps with 2 colors of Distress Ink and using the brush and bit of water, I recolor the leaves and the flower.. Hmm, not bad lah.. ;D

Supplies: Hero Arts Hydrangea stamp, CD doily dies, PTI sentiment stamp, The Twinery Shore, Distress Inks, Versamark

This is the detail on the flower:

It's all for today. No special case to tell. Hehehe.. Have a pleasant wonderful weekend, everyone...

Day 27 - For You

Hi friends,

It's my friend's birthday today. I met her yesterday in Jakarta. We haven't met for more than 10 years!! Can you imagine? We were almost always together when we were still employees in PT Pertamina. I quit my job because I got married with my hubby, since he works also in the same company with me. She quit because she wanted to look for better future. Since the last time we met, which I didn't remember when, we've lost contact for several times. And when I was in the car on my way to Surabaya, suddenly the thought of her occupied my mind. I sent her messages, and finally invited her to have lunch. Oh, that's great. We met in the mall, Grand Indonesia, my fave mall ever. Then we had lunch in Kopitiam, a big lunch that she never expected me to eat all.. LOL... We took a pic. And this is us...

And today, it's her birthday. i'm going to send this card to her tomorrow. better late it arrives than never. Hope she likes it..

Supplies: CB folder, PTI Butterfly and Mini Tag dies, Hero Arts flower stamp, CD doily dies.

Happy birthday, Ferra Charsani... It's a treasure to have a friendship with you... Hope we meet again someday....

Thanks for viewing my creation..

Day 26 - Good Friends Are The Best - CFAS Challenge

Hi friends..
I'm in the hotel room, just arrived from the venue of the workshop that I conducted for 2 days. Remember what I mentioned yesterday? Yes!! Look at my card for CFAS #21 Challenge : Shaped Cards (no rectangle). I chose the image from Meljen's Design. It's the dinosaurus!!
Source: Meljen's Design, Spellbinder dies, Copic, Hero Arts Sentiment stamp, velvet ribbon.
The challenge is sponsored by Jellypark, Meljen's Design, and The Stamping Boutique.
And... I never imagined that the workshop of today is about making Stegosaurus and Tyrannosaurus Rex!! It's really in line. It's a pop up card, and I taught 750 kinder teachers to make these dinos which can move!! Look at the pictures below..
The first pic is when the the card is closed, the dino is hiding behind the bush. The second one is when the card is open, the dino is coming out, standing proudly.. If you asked me how to make it, well, I had no theory for that, and no step-by-step reading. I have the book and learnt it by viewing it over and over and over... LOL..
Thanks for viewing my work here.. Don't hesitate to join the challenge... See you around.

Day 25 - Nothing is A Waste Of Time If ...

Hi friends,

I am in Jember now. It's in East Java province. I took a 10-hour train from Cirebon to Surabaya then continued with another train for 4 hours. I arrived yesterday. And today, i gave a workshop on Pop Up creations. I managed to teach 4 creations today. Tomorrow, I will continue teach them with another 6 or 7 creations. And the funny thing is that the card for CFAS DT is in line with the theme I will teach tomorrow. So stay tune in tomorrow's post, will ya..

I arrived at the hotel around 4 in the afternoon. Then, I made this card. A simple one. I brought these felt flowers and this leave stamp. Yes, I really wanted to make a card for today. Hehe.. But, I missed some tiny buds for the flowers. Well, at least, I felt glad to be able to make a card again after a week. So, here is my card.

Supplies: PTI leave stamp and X'mas dies, MFT sentiment stamp, felt flowers, velvet ribbon

These are the details:

These are the photos of mine, teaching in the workshop today. Can you imagine, there were 750 kinder teachers?? Woooohoooo.. So many. But, thanks to Jesus, I could handle this big workshop. They didn't get away from their seat until I really finished and said goodbye. Oh, they are really exhausted of knowledge, and I'm so thankful that I can be one from many to share the knowledge to them.

750 kinder teachers..

Ok, friends, see you tomorrow for the new CFAS. Stay tune with me.. ;D

Thanks for viewing all the pics..

February 16, Pop Up Book workshop in Probolinggo, East Java :

February 17, Pop Up Book workshop in Lumajang, East Java:

Yes, I am so tired. However, if I have some cards to make, I'm sure those will relieve my tiredness.. LOL... I will fly tomorrow morning with the earliest flight to Jakarta. I'll meet my Mom there, and tomorrow evening, I'll take the train to go back home.. Miss everyone at home...

Day 23 - Have A Fantastic Day - Go to to the next level

Hello friends,

I'm back from my workshop. I was teaching how to make and to form clay from three kinds of flour. The materials are easy to find and inexpensive. The participants were almost 300 kinder teachers. So glad that they could make the best clay, only learned in a few hours. Good luck, teachers! Share the knowledge to others and to your students. These are the some pics from the workshop.

A bit tiring, but it's Sunday, so Sunday for me always bring more joy, more happiness. Because this is the day to praise The Lord together with friends and family in Sunday School and church. There were 2 debuts this morning, happened to my second daughter and to me.. Amazing. The Lord permitted us to do this to praise His name. My second daughter, played on the piano in the Kids Choir Ensemble. The song: "Open The Eyes Of My Heart". And me? This was the first time for me to play the keyboard in Sunday School fellowship. Thank You, Lord, for the chance.. Amazing. These are the pictures.

And today, I managed to make a card. As today is the debuts for both of us (and both my DD and I are the second child in the fam.. ;D), I made this card using this sentiment. It's a fantastic day, and hope it is, too, to you.

Supplies: 3 Hero Arts stamps, The Twinery, local ribbon and buttons, Distress Inks.

This is the detail. I love pins..

Thanks for looking, friends. Hope you enjoy the pics as you also enjoy this lovely Sunday..

Day 22 - Hello

Hi friends,

Me again..

This Friday morning, I again woke up so late.. Hehe. Still jetlag, I guess. I tried to sleep at the time at night, but I still couldn't close my eyes until over midnight. I guess I fell asleep around two in the morning. I woke up just to make sure the kids go to school properly and then went to bed again. That's the mistake.. Hehe.. But, my eyes... oh...

So, to make me awake, I keep telling myself about the commitment of A Card A Day. LOL... These are the tags I made today, with the birds on them.

Supplies: PTI Stack dies, MFT Tag Dies, PTI leaves stamp, SU Bird punch, Hero Arts sentiment stamp, The Twinery and local ribbons.

These are the closer look on each of the tags:

These will go to the lady chosen by Deborah, in February 2012 Card Chain Challenge. So glad that I can join again, after missing the event twice. I chose the theme: Birds (in honor of the Great Backyard Bird Count (Feb 18-21). Hope the lady enjoys these tags. All these three will be given to her.

Challenge:

Let's ink It Up #20 - Ribbon

Ok then, until tomorrow..ups.. I won't be here tomorrow, so meet again on Sunday...

Thanks for your lovely comments, friends.. Bye..

Day 21 - Life Is What You Make It

Hai friends,

Yesterday was so busy. My assistant and I prepared all the things for the clay workshop in Ponorogo, East Java (10 hours by train). There will be 700 kinder teachers on Saturday workshop. So, the materials prepared should be at least 160 packs. Oh.. what a job!!

I made this card very late evening, around 10.00 p.m. And I couldn't post it, because the wi-fi in the housing complex has blocked the blogger sites. So sad about that. I can see my blog, but I cannot sign in. So this morning I managed myself to upload it.

Here it is.

Supplies: Hero Arts Cling Music Background, PTI X'mas Label & butterflies dies, MFT Rolled flower dies, handmade pins, The Twinery, MFT sentiment, Distress Ink Forest Moss.

This is the closer look on the butterfly:

I love that sentiment coming in the set. So versatile set of sentiment from MFT. I got it as a bonus from December purchase. I do agree with that sentiment. Yes, I love music and I can't live without music. I always always always listen to the music, either gospels or instrumental songs, or even just listen to my daughters playing piano, guitar, or recorder. I myself always play one or two musical instrument every day. At least 15 minutes a day. That keeps my mind in balance after a hustle and bustle of everyday chores. This will keep me think that I'm lucky in this world and am always thankful to Jesus for the life He's given me. You know, happiness is when we are thankful for everything we encounter in every single moment in our life. Do you agree? ;D

Ok, that's for this card. See you again later for today's card. Thanks, friends.
